Texas Hold'Em Poker is the biggest game around today. The Poker pro's play it for millions of dollars and it is the biggest craze on the internet. The fun and excitement of Texas Hold'Em is what draws players to it. The game is definately one to play.
Rules of Poker
Texas Holdem starts with the two players to the left of the dealer paying the Small Blind and the Big blind repsectively. After this, every player is dealt 2 cards face down. These become the players "hole" cards.
Players take turns betting around the table until every player has mathced the bet, or is out of the game.
The next round sees the first three community cards being dealt. These cards are known as the "flop". Players then take turns betting again.
This happens twice more, with the final two commumity cards beaing dealt (the Turn and the River cards) with betting rounds after these.
After all betting has finished, the remaining players show their hands to determine the winner. The winner is the player with the highest ranked hand of five cards made up from their hole cards and the community cards.
