10 High Hold'em

A relatively new poker variation that combines bonus pay tables with Texas Hold’em

› 10 High Hold'em

If you’re experienced in Texas Hold’em, you’ll already have a good idea about how this game runs. If you’re not experienced, don’t worry because 10 High Hold’em is very easy to learn. It’s played with a standard 52-card deck with the Jokers removed. As the player, you are competing against the dealer to see who can create the best possible 5 card poker hand. All of the winning hands are the same as they would be in a standard game of poker.

As with Texas Hold’em, you will have two Hole Cards and five Community Cards in which to create your best possible poker hand. The games play out just the same with the dealer turning out a Flop, a Turn and a River. The only difference is that while Texas Hold’em pauses between each stage, 10 High Hold’em does not. Once you put down your wager(s) and hit the Deal button, the dealer lays out all the cards and the computer determines a winner without a single pause.

The biggest difference between these two games is the wagering system. 10 High Hold’em offers three different bets and your payout is determined by which of these bets you place.

  • Initial Bet: This is put down first. In order to win this, your winning hand must consist of at least one of your Hole Cards. The Initial Bet pays out even money.
  • 10+ Bet: This bet can be placed in addition to or instead of the Initial Bet. In order to win this wager, your winning combination must include at least one of your Hole Cards. One or more of your Hole Cards must also be a 10. The payout is based on the 10+ Pay Table.
  • Bonus Bet: This is a $2 optional bet. Both Hole Cards should be used to create a winning Bonus Bet hand. It’s paid out based on the Bonus Pay Table.

The pay tables offered at Golden Casino are as follows. Other online casinos will offer something similar.
